Whale-Watching Cruise in Forillon National Park

Come and discover one of Québec’s hidden treasures with Croisières Baie-de-Gaspé: the whales in Forillon National Park.

Enjoy an unforgettable whale-watching cruise aboard the Narval III. A professional bilingual interpreter guide will accompany you during this excursion of approximately 2h30 to tell you more about the various species of whales you will encounter. As many as seven different species can be observed, including blue, fin, humpback and minke whales. Forillon is a particularly good place to see the spectacular humpback whale.

It includes two areas accessible for free: the Forêt ancienne with 10 km of trails along the beautiful Rivière Noire plus its many activities for the family (hiking, fishing, obstacle course, GPS rally, etc.) and the Grande tourbière de Villeroy, a magnificent territory, with 3 km of trails including 1,2 km of boardwalk in the heart of an open bog.

Access is free from sunrise to sunset. Dogs on a leash at all times are accepted (in the Foret ancienne area only)

Come live a unique experience in our private park of 47 hectares, an exceptional natural environment where we preserve biodiversity. Participate in our guided activities that will introduce you to two of Canada's most important landmarks: log construction and beaver habitat. Visit buildings that tell the story of log construction, learn about woodworking with period tools, and take part in an interactive demonstration of traditional log construction.

Parc régional du Mont-Ham

Complete immersion in a world where nature and its roots take over

Mont-Ham Regional Park is a destination known for its hiking trails and the spectacular view from its summit: a 360-degree panorama of forest and agricultural landscapes. Mount Ham Regional Park is also a place where we cultivate precious links with our Aboriginal roots. In partnership with the Grand Council of the Waban-Aki Nation, various activities have been developed to promote and share ancestral knowledge: interpretation panels along the Legends Trail, Abenaki space, teepee accommodation, etc.

A guaranteed favorite
All outdoor enthusiasts will be delighted by the different levels of intensity offered in the park, with a summit that dominates the region at an altitude of 713 meters. From beginner to expert, the marked trails that crisscross the mountain total 18 km.

Camping at the summit
The Parc régional du Mont-Ham being a biological refuge, it is not possible to camp at the summit, except during activities supervised by the park. That's why we offer you the opportunity to join our organized outings, to enjoy a unique experience for a night at the top of the mountain.

Perfect for children
The Mont-Ham Regional Park welcomes many schools, since the routes are adapted to children and allow to reach the summit in a reasonable time. This is the perfect family activity! Moreover, you will be welcomed by a friendly and cheerful team.

Val-David, where nature reigns supreme

Nature tamed just enough to offer fans of the outdoors an ecotourism haven. This protected forest is traversed by hundred of kilometers of hiking, cross country and snowshoe trails, of varying levels of difficulty. Look outs, belvederes and shelters made the experience all the more memorable. Over many years, climbers from all over come and practice their favourite sport enjoying the beautiful panorama of the park. From training walls to overhangs, Val-David's climbing gardens have something for everyone.

 

 

Parc régional des Grèves

The Regional Park of Strikes carries the project to create a park accessible to all, in an exceptional natural space. Composed of a mixed forest, a century-old pine forest, and several peat bogs, this territory which borders the banks of the St. Lawrence offers an astonishing variety of ecosystems where territorial conservation and outdoor activities complement each other.

Horizon offers outdoor health services in the Gaspésie region. The mission of this health organization is to promote mental health and to contribute to the wellness of the population. The various services offered will foster the development of personalized tools to help overcome obstacles and replenish health. Those services will be delivered by health professionals whose focus is the betterment of each person's health. The sessions will always emphasize the outdoors as an ideal environment to promote health and wellness.

Parc régional des Chutes Monte-à-Peine-et-des-Dalles

In the middle of the municipalities of Sainte-Béatrix, Saint-Jeande-Matha and Sainte-Mélanie, the park offers a network of 17km hiking trails, camping and picnic areas, walkways, lookouts and a nature interpretation trail.
