Parc de la Gorge is an exceptional outdoor center offering many winter and summer activities. The Parc Découverte Nature is located less than 20 km (15 minutes by car) from the Parc de la Gorge in Coaticook. It offers an introduction to pond fishing (equipment provided) as well as Acoatica, an interactive indoor and outdoor game.

Various activities are offered to school groups:

  • Guided hiking - Self-guided hiking (a 3.5 km trail with interpretation panels on the history, fauna and flora of the park on the Gorge Trail, including the crossing of the longest pedestrian bridge in North America, as well as a cave, an observation tower, a dam and a hydroelectric power station).
  • Scavenger Hunt for students in grades 1 to 6.

The Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook is an enchanting place and ideal for families. Our many activities allow everyone to live a special experience when visiting us!

Activities offered: hiking, Foresta Lumina, mountain biking, four-season camping, huts, ready-to-camp, snowshoeing, winter walking, snow biking (fatbike), a trail with interpretation panels on the history, fauna and flora of the park on the Gorge Trail (3.5 km), including the crossing of the longest pedestrian bridge in North America in addition to a cave, an observation tower, a dam and a hydroelectric plant!

Accessories and equipment: changing table and stool in the reception area's washrooms, watering trough for children, baby carrier rental (to be validated with health standards), access to a microwave oven in the reception area.

Infrastructures: mountain and walking trails designed for families (easy level, suitable for strollers), coloring area in the community room from mid-May to mid-October.
