School Groups

Québec’s regional parks offer tremendous opportunities for educational activities. To teachers, these well-equipped and safe playgrounds offer an ideal environment for encouraging physical activity in a fun setting. Whether you organize an excursion, a nature class, a workshop or an introduction to an outdoor activity, the options are many and varied, as each regional park is unique while allowing for some flexibility.

All regional parks listed in this directory are organized to welcome school groups, offering infrastructures and services that facilitate educational activities (i.e. visitor center, accommodation, drinkable water, interpretive stations, parking space for buses, etc.). Some of them also offer equipment rental or activities conducted by outdoor professionals.

Whatever your teaching goals, make sure to contact your regional park ahead of time in order to know your options and to plan, with help from the staff, a group outing that fits your needs.

Note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, school outings in red zones are on hold until further notice.
