Parc régional des Appalaches

Parc régional des Appalaches

Created in 1997, in the heart of the Appalachian forest, the Appalachian Park spreads over several sectors with their points of interest where we find eskers, waterfalls, peat bogs, mountains, lakes and rivers.

The Appalachian Park is the perfect place for a variety of outdoor activities. With its network of 140 km of hiking trails and cycling, canoeing on lakes and rivers, mountains with exceptional views, archways, accommodation for all tastes. During the winter, snowshoes and scooters are practiced in many areas of the Park. All trails feature sidewalks, lookouts, walkways and shelters, as well as resort amenities such as shelters and rustic or landscaped campgrounds. In addition, access to the trails is free. Come discover the park with your dog friend.

Dogs are not only welcome, but they are also welcome everywhere. Your faithful companion can hike, camp, sleep in a shelter and even take a ride in a canoe or pontoon!
