Parc national des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie

The Parc national des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie is an amalgam of beautifully cut valleys and high mountains. The Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie are among the most spectacular panoramas of Quebec. The importance of the unevenness, the beauty of the landscapes and the original layout of the Malbaie River make of this site a picturesque place. Come for a hiking or dog sledding trip in the heart of the highest walls east of the Rocky Mountains, where time stops, but the show continues.

Descente Malbaie

Dog sledding expedition

Specialists in dog sledding and river canoeing for more than 12 years, we offer 3 to 5-day expeditions into the mountainous backcountry. We are the only ones entering the Hautes-Gorges-de-la-rivière-Malbaie national park with you leading your own team of huskies. We sleep and paddle in cabins in the scenic northern territory. 3 to 7-day training sessions are also available.

Traversée Charlevoix

A raid in the boreal forest: a real challenge!

105 kilometers of trails

La Traversée de Charlevoix is a 105 km raid in the Charlevoix hinterland, in the heart of the World Biosphere Reserve. This true challenge is intended for advanced hikers and skiers and expert cyclists. Off-piste skiing and hiking take place in 7 days and raid by mountain bike in 4 days. Accommodation is in rustic chalets, self-catering or with luggage transport. The trail, opened in 1978, is well marked but not mechanically traced in winter.

La Traversée de Charlevoix is affiliated with the prestigious Trans Canada Trail and the Québec National Trail.  Also, a network of short day hiking trails is available for hiking or snowshoeing with or without accommodation.
