Reduce - Reuse - Recycle - Protect
We are not perfect. But we do our best to make a positive impact on our planet. We care about the health of our nature and our planet. This is why Aventure Écotourisme Québec and the Parcs régionaux du Québec are committed to minimizing their environmental impact by applying the following principles: limiting our carbon footprint, working ethically, reducing our waste and not pushing to over-consumption.

SELECTIVE TRI
- Re-use, revaluation of equipment
- Rejects single-use plastics
- Recycling of waste
- Our empty ink and toner cartridges are donated to a non-profit organization (Mira Foundation) so that they can be recycled and depolluted.
- Batteries, pencils and electronic accessories are disposed of in boxes for this purpose.
- Composting
INTELLIGENT CONSUMPTION
- Reducing printing to the benefit of sending electronic documents
- Encourages electronic invoicing
- Limited production/printing of brochures and printing on recycled paper
- Using more environmentally friendly paper containing fibres from sustainably managed forests or recycled papers
- Printing of documents only if necessary
- Purchase necessary items only
- Recovery of office items
- Reduction of air conditioning and heating when not needed
- Advocacy of biodegradable, recyclable or made in a recycled manner articles
- Local purchase
REDUCE NUMERIC IMPACTS
- Quick shutdown of our computer equipment when not in use
- Minimal using cloud servers and software
- Frequently cleaning up our mailbox
CARBON EMISSIONS
- Promotes carpooling or travel optimization
- Advocate conference calls or videos.
- Meetings in person only if necessary.
- Proposes the possibility of telecommuting
- Provides access to an electic terminal for cars

- Communication on sustainable good practices
- Awareness of the network to develop and implement eco-responsible practices
- Involvement in the community to counter the effects of climate change
