Outdoor mecca in Baie-des-Chaleurs
Mont-Saint-Joseph offers an exceptional area for outdoor enthusiasts: 35 km of hiking trails, 24 km of mountain bike trails (including 18 km of single track trails), a climbing wall sanctioned by the FQME, and 20 km of winter trails for fatbike, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and walking in the heart of Carleton-sur-Mer. After your excursion, head to the summit for a night of glamping in one of our geodomes built on a mountainside. Along the way, explore the chapel built in 1935 and our large belvedere, which offers a breathtaking view of Baie-des-Chaleurs. At the Visitor Centre, you will learn more about our history and the Mi'gmaq Nation, for whom Mont Saint-Joseph is an important gathering place.
