Laurentians : Our Certified Regional Parks

Parc régional Kiamika

An exceptional place for exceptional moments!

Located less than 200 km from Montreal, the Kiamika Regional Park is a well-kept secret that surprises by its splendour and its wild aspect! With a surface area of 184 km², the park contains an immense body of water of about sixty square kilometres comprising a dozen lakes and about forty islands and islets, including the large White Partridge Island and the small Partridge Island.

Come enjoy Montagne du Diable Regional Park! With over 100 km2 of terrain it is a paradise for any outdoor enthusiasts.

The park offers a variety of activities such as snowshoeing, classic cross-country skiing, skate skiing, ski touring, Nordic or hok, fatbike, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing/kayak or paddleboarding . It is also possible to extend your stay in our many accommodations. From tiny houses, nature cabins, mountain huts or shelters, lean-to’s, rustic camp sites and two-service camping.

Our 3 sectors will charm you in summer and winter. The Montagne du Diable regional park has become a must-see destination in the Laurentians.

NEW ! Discover the brand new Windigo lake and fall’s sector! A haven of natural beauty in the shadow of the majestic Montagne du Diable. Take a break in either one of the six tiny houses. Or if camping is more your style, stay at the rustic campsites on the Windigo peninsula or in a lean-to. Got a camper or RV, no problem! Stay at our 2-service campsites. Whatever your style, the Windigo sector has something for everyone to discover!

Need an energy boost? The prescription is Montagne d'Argent 5 times a year

Savour the present by hiking, snowshoeing, rock climbing or ice climbing. At Montagne d'Argent, everything is focused on that magic moment. Our mountain trails, judged to have the best panoramas in the Laurentians, are physically challenging, and our rock and ice centres are accessible to all. Developed and managed by outdoor enthusiasts, our welcome and campfire nights are legendary. We await your arrival.

Parc linéaire Le P'tit Train du Nord

Try walk, run, ride, ski, try… slowing down!

The P'tit Train du Nord is responsible for the development and management of the 234 km multifunctional trail between Mont-Laurier and Bois-des-Filion. From historic railway stations to scenic villages, cycle tourists and other active users can travel on asphalt (65%) or stone dust, enjoying both natural beauty and gourmet breaks. In winter, there is also cross-country skiing over 40 km.

Our mission is to improve active transportation in the Laurentians and develop sports and social uses. We are linked to Route Verte bike paths and 24,000 km of the Great Trail. Together, we are working for the harmonious future of this infrastructure and we are ensuring its sustainability.

 

Poisson Blanc regional park

An island all to yourself is waiting for you at Poisson Blanc Regional Park’s located in Upper-Laurentians at the Outaouais frontieres. The Poisson Blanc Lake campsites are located on islands or peninsulas and only accessible by canoe, kayak or SUP. Rustic and isolated, we offer an exceptional camping experience on a vast stretch of water where you have the privilege of having no close neighbours. More than 10 km of hiking trails are located on Montagne du Diable, in the Rapide-du-Fort sector.

Parc régional Val-David - Val-Morin, secteur Dufresne

Val-David, where nature reigns supreme

Nature tamed just enough to offer fans of the outdoors an ecotourism haven. This protected forest is traversed by hundred of kilometers of hiking, cross country and snowshoe trails, of varying levels of difficulty. Look outs, belvederes and shelters made the experience all the more memorable. Over many years, climbers from all over come and practice their favourite sport enjoying the beautiful panorama of the park. From training walls to overhangs, Val-David's climbing gardens have something for everyone.

 

Parc régional de la Rivière-du-Nord

Discovering the Rivière-du-Nord and its Wilson Falls... The park offers a multitude of outdoor activities in all seasons!

The Parc régional de la Rivière-du-Nord is a place known for its cultural heritage landscape. The park offers its visitors a site of predilection for the practice of a multitude of outdoor activities in all seasons. Interpretation trails will guide visitors to the falls and the remains of the former pulp mill. Hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, rabaska, kayaking, picnicking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, walking on snow, are just a brief list of the activities also offered. Water games, hebertism trail and obstacle course are offered for young and old.
