Mount Ham Regional Park is a well-known destination for its hiking trails and summit with spectacular views.
Mount Ham dominates the region of its 713 meters above sea level, offering from its summit a panoramic view as one sees nowhere else. Summit for rent

For a night, with family or friends, enjoy a unique wild camping experience at the top of the mountain. You can form a group of 15 people or more and ask for the exclusivity of the summit to take full advantage of this extraordinary experience.

Parc régional du Massif du sud

Discover the Parc du Massif du Sud and its beautiful region Chauidières-Appalaches. Winter landscapes are magical. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, Hok skiing, and slipping on are in the spotlight. Traversée Charlevoix

A raid in the boreal forest: a real challenge!

105 kilometers of trails

La Traversée de Charlevoix is a 105 km raid in the Charlevoix hinterland, in the heart of the World Biosphere Reserve. This true challenge is intended for advanced hikers and skiers and expert cyclists. Off-piste skiing and hiking take place in 7 days and raid by mountain bike in 4 days. Accommodation is in rustic chalets, self-catering or with luggage transport. The trail is well marked but not mechanically traced in winter making exceptional the backcountry skiing experience.

La Traversée de Charlevoix is affiliated with the prestigious Trans Canada Trail and the Québec National Trail.  Also, a network of short day hiking trails is available for hiking or snowshoeing with or without accommodation.

Parc régional des Grandes-Coulées

The parc régional des Grandes-Coulées is a must for outdoor activities in the L'Érable region! It includes two areas accessible for free. The Forêt ancienne counts 10 km of trails along the beautiful Rivière Noire plus its many activities for the family: fishing, hiking, biking, bikejoring, canicross, hebertism, GPS rally, bird watching and eclusive rental for a night in a rustic accommodation. The Grande tourbière, becoming a protected ecological reserve, has 3 km of trails including 1,2 km of boardwalk. Access is free from sunrise to sunset. Dogs on a leash at all times are accepted (in the Forêt Ancienne area only)!

Val-David, where nature reigns supreme

Nature tamed just enough to offer fans of the outdoors an ecotourism haven. This protected forest is traversed by hundred of kilometers of hiking, cross country and snowshoe trails, of varying levels of difficulty. Look outs, belvederes and shelters made the experience all the more memorable. Over many years, climbers from all over come and practice their favourite sport enjoying the beautiful panorama of the park. From training walls to overhangs, Val-David's climbing gardens have something for everyone.

 

Parc régional de Beauharnois-Salaberry

Throughout its network, the Beauharnois-Salaberry Regional Park offers you a kaleidoscope of breathtaking landscapes and ambiances, all within a one-hour drive from Montreal.

In the 1930s, during the economic crisis, a huge canalization project between lakes Saint-François and Saint-Louis was carried out in the heart of what has now become the Beauharnois-Salaberry RCM, a huge canalization project between lakes Saint-François and Saint-Louis. Over a period of 3 years, over a distance of nearly 25 kilometers, a kilometre-wide canal was dug to supply the "Beauharnois" hydroelectric power station and later serve the St. Lawrence Seaway. For decades, on nearly 50 km of shoreline, the environment remains inaccessible and is left to lie fallow.

Some 60 years later, thanks to cooperation between partners, one of Quebec's land development models was created: the Beauharnois-Salaberry Regional Park. Since then, citizens have had the opportunity to reappropriate an entire environment where they have access to vast natural, nautical, riparian and wooded areas. In short, a true collective heritage rediscovered...

Located in the heart of the tourist region, the Beauharnois-Salaberry Regional Park is a vast recreational and leisure facility accessible to all for the practice of outdoor activities and healthy lifestyles. Since the inauguration of the very first cycling section in 1996, the Park has continued to develop and now connects the two urban centres of the MRC while branching out to all of its rural municipalities.

The Regional Park is located in the heart of the Beauharnois-Salaberry tourist region and consists of a vast recreational and leisure facility accessible to all for the practice of outdoor activities and healthy lifestyle habits. There are more than 70 km of flat, paved and multifunctional trails for cyclists, pedestrians and in-line skaters.

Located less than 200 km from Montreal, the Kiamika Regional Park is a well-kept secret that surprises by its splendour and its wild aspect! With a surface area of 184 km², the park contains an immense body of water of about sixty square kilometres comprising a dozen lakes and about forty islands and islets, including the large White Partridge Island and the small Partridge Island.

Gatineau Plein Air

Gatineau plein air Outaouais, a project of the Musée du patrimoine brassicole régional des brasseurs du temps is an NPO specializing in offering urban, peri-urban and remote outdoor activities. We offer guided tours by canoe, rabaska, kayak, bicycle, on foot or any other mode of active transportation. The routes, which vary in difficulty and duration, incorporate an important heritage dimension, whether it be the natural or cultural heritage of the region. The Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors. A unique attraction, this protected wildlife area is the largest in the metropolitan region. What could be more exciting than watching the animal world in its natural habitat?

Parc linéaire Le P'tit Train du Nord

Try walk, run, ride, ski, try… slowing down!

The P'tit Train du Nord is responsible for the development and management of the 234 km multifunctional trail between Mont-Laurier and Bois-des-Filion. From historic railway stations to scenic villages, cycle tourists and other active users can travel on asphalt (65%) or stone dust, enjoying both natural beauty and gourmet breaks. In winter, there is also cross-country skiing over 40 km.

Our mission is to improve active transportation in the Laurentians and develop sports and social uses. We are linked to Route Verte bike paths and 24,000 km of the Great Trail. Together, we are working for the harmonious future of this infrastructure and we are ensuring its sustainability.

The Canyon des Portes de l’Enfer was located at 35 km of Rimouski via 232. It begins with the waterfall Grand Sault and stretching on 5 km. The main activity, hiking spends about 30 min to 5h30 hours. The managed trail of 1 to 18 km is accessible for many people. Ours path was certified by RandoQuébec.
