Parc naturel régional de Portneuf


The Regional Natural Park of Portneuf, a large territory where you can practice a multitude of outdoor activities. The exceptional geomorphological attractions make this territory a place of observation, recreation and unique learning! Navigate by canoe, kayak or paddle board, explore the Devil's Hole cave, enjoy a stay in a cabin, in a ready-to-camp tent or a shelter, outdo yourself on the ski trails. snowshoeing and snowshoeing, enjoy a night in nature in one of our rustic camping sites or browse our network of more than 70 km of hiking trails! Administered by a social economy enterprise, the park allows you to visit an exceptional territory and contribute to the preservation and enhancement of it. Your dogs are allowed, always leash, all over the territory and in some accommodations.
 

Parc régional du Mont-Ham

The most beautiful small mountains in Quebec, now open to the year 7 days a week

Mount Ham Regional Park is a well-known destination for its hiking trails and summit with spectacular views.
Mount Ham dominates the region of its 713 meters above sea level, offering from its summit a panoramic view as one sees nowhere else. All outdoor enthusiasts are satisfied by the different levels of intensity offered. From beginner to expert, the marked trails that crisscross the mountain total 18 km.

At the rocky summit, you will enjoy a 360-degree view of this beautiful hilly region that combines forest and agricultural landscapes. A blow of heart assured.

Camping at the top

Since Mont-Ham is a biological refuge, it is not possible to camp at the summit, except during activities supervised by the park. This is why it is offered to join our organized outings, to enjoy a unique experience for a night at the top of the mountain.

Perfect for children

The Mount Ham Regional Park is home to many schools, as the courses are child-friendly and allow you to reach the summit in a reasonable amount of time. Here is the family activity par excellence! In addition, you will be welcomed by a friendly and joyful team.

 

 

 

Parc régional des Grandes-Coulées

The parc régional des Grandes-Coulées is a must for outdoor activities in the L'Érable region! It includes two areas accessible for free. The Forêt ancienne counts 10 km of trails along the beautiful Rivière Noire plus its many activities for the family: fishing, hiking, biking, bikejoring, canicross, hebertism, GPS rally, bird watching and eclusive rental for a night in a rustic accommodation. The Grande-Tourbière-de-Villeroy, becoming a protected ecological reserve, has 3 km of trails including 1,2 km of boardwalk. Access is free from sunrise to sunset. Dogs on a leash at all times are accepted (in the Forêt Ancienne area only)!

Parc régional Kiamika

An exceptional place for exceptional moments!

Located less than 200 km from Montreal, the Kiamika Regional Park is a well-kept secret that surprises by its splendour and its wild aspect! With a surface area of 184 km², the park contains an immense body of water of about sixty square kilometres comprising a dozen lakes and about forty islands and islets, including the large White Partridge Island and the small Partridge Island.

We have more than 55 km of singletrack trails for all style (Enduro, XC) and for all skill levels, from large beginner trails to sensational double diamond expert descend. Fat Biking

We are considered the most popular fatbiking site in the world, with 48 km (30 miles) of trails for all skills level. It's your first time, don't worry! We have a great rental department with helmets, front lights and more than 90 Fat Bikes available for rent, including electrical assistance and junior models (24'). Empire 47, a great winter adventure! 

Parc de la rivière Batiscan

Nature pure and simple, easy to access.

Just 30 minutes from Trois-Rivières, the Batiscan River Park will charm you whether you are a thrill-seeker or want to relax in nature.  

This park divided into 3 sectors offers many activities such as Via Ferrata, tree climbing, zip lines, canoe, kayak and paddle board rentals (to be determined for the 2021 season), river access, fishing, hiking and even nature interpretation activities guided by biologists.

It’s time to live your first fatbike ride! We make the biking experience on snow easy and accessible. The introduction excursions are guided and adapted to beginners being on flat trails. That is without mentioning the astonishing surroundings that you will visit: Old Quebec & the Saint-Charles River. Scared of the ice and cold? We have everything for your comfort and safety! It is a turnkey solution. The fat bike activity includes the rental of the fat bike with studded tires, the helmet and a hot beverage. At the meeting point, it will be possible to rent/barrow winter accessories and clothing to not get cold. Our mission is to make you smile and make the fat bike winter exprience accessible for everyone.

Parc régional des Appalaches

Created in 1997, in the heart of the Appalachian forest, the Appalachian Park spreads over several sectors with their points of interest where we find eskers, waterfalls, peat bogs, mountains, lakes and rivers.

The Appalachian Park is the perfect place for a variety of outdoor activities. With its network of 140 km of hiking trails and cycling, canoeing on lakes and rivers, mountains with exceptional views, archways, accommodation for all tastes. During the winter, snowshoes and scooters are practiced in many areas of the Park. All trails feature sidewalks, lookouts, walkways and shelters, as well as resort amenities such as shelters and rustic or landscaped campgrounds. In addition, access to the trails is free. Come discover the park with your dog friend.

Dogs are not only welcome, but they are also welcome everywhere. Your faithful companion can hike, camp, sleep in a shelter and even take a ride in a canoe or pontoon!
