Covering a little over 150 km², the Ouareau Forest Regional Park offers a vast territory for outdoor enthusiasts. It can be accessed from the following sectors: Massif, Grande-Jetée, Grande-Vallée, Pont Suspendu and Contreforts. The park is endowed with a mountainous massif incorporating a network of multifunctional trails (hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing) of 120 km. Numerous shelters and rustic camping sites allow hikers to extend their stay. Crossed by a magnificent river, the Ouareau Forest features numerous wilderness lakes and several climbing walls offered in collaboration with the Fédération québécoise de la montagne et de l'escalade. The P'tit Train du Nord is responsible for the development and management of the 234 km multifunctional trail between Mont-Laurier and Bois-des-Filion. From historic railway stations to scenic villages, cycle tourists and other active users can travel on asphalt (65%) or stone dust, enjoying both natural beauty and gourmet breaks.

Our mission is to improve active transportation in the Laurentians and develop sports and social uses. We are linked to Route Verte bike paths and 24,000 km of the Great Trail. Together, we are working for the harmonious future of this infrastructure and we are ensuring its sustainability.

Parc régional du Mont-Ham

Complete immersion in a world where nature and its roots take over

Mont-Ham Regional Park is a destination known for its hiking trails and the spectacular view from its summit: a 360-degree panorama of forest and agricultural landscapes. Mount Ham Regional Park is also a place where we cultivate precious links with our Aboriginal roots. In partnership with the Grand Council of the Waban-Aki Nation, various activities have been developed to promote and share ancestral knowledge: interpretation panels along the Legends Trail, Abenaki space, teepee accommodation, etc.

A guaranteed favorite
All outdoor enthusiasts will be delighted by the different levels of intensity offered in the park, with a summit that dominates the region at an altitude of 713 meters. From beginner to expert, the marked trails that crisscross the mountain total 18 km.

Camping at the summit
The Parc régional du Mont-Ham being a biological refuge, it is not possible to camp at the summit, except during activities supervised by the park. That's why we offer you the opportunity to join our organized outings, to enjoy a unique experience for a night at the top of the mountain.

Perfect for children
The Mont-Ham Regional Park welcomes many schools, since the routes are adapted to children and allow to reach the summit in a reasonable time. This is the perfect family activity! Moreover, you will be welcomed by a friendly and cheerful team.

Parc régional Kiamika

An exceptional place for exceptional moments!

Located less than 200 km from Montreal, the Kiamika Regional Park is a well-kept secret that surprises by its splendour and its wild aspect! With a surface area of 184 km², the park contains an immense body of water of about sixty square kilometres comprising a dozen lakes and about forty islands and islets, including the large White Partridge Island and the small Partridge Island.

Parc régional du Mont-Saint-Joseph

Outdoor mecca in Baie-des-Chaleurs

Mont-Saint-Joseph offers an exceptional area for outdoor enthusiasts: 35 km of hiking trails, 24 km of mountain bike trails (including 18 km of single track trails), a climbing wall sanctioned by the FQME, and 20 km of winter trails for fatbike, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and walking in the heart of Carleton-sur-Mer. After your excursion, head to the summit for a night of glamping in one of our geodomes built on a mountainside. Along the way, explore the chapel built in 1935 and our large belvedere, which offers a breathtaking view of Baie-des-Chaleurs. At the Visitor Centre, you will learn more about our history and the Mi'gmaq Nation, for whom Mont Saint-Joseph is an important gathering place.

Experimentation through our multi-activities, promotion of territorial and cultural diversity, awakening of ecological sensitivity, are all subjects that fascinate us. Specializing in activities for families with at least one child under the age of 6, Kiddy in the Backcountry likes to present nature as a context of wonder for all! It’s the art of turning little things into spectacular moments to make our children our best adventure team-mate.

Parc du Domaine Vert

Parc du Domaine Vert has a wide range of outdoor activities for you

Located in Mirabel, the Parc du Domaine Vert offers a wide variety of solo or family activities. 

The entrance fee for the summer season includes access to the picnic area, bike paths, walking loops, the outdoor pool with integrated water games, the bathers cottage (toilets, showers, lockers that can be locked), the volleyball court, the ground-based Hébertice Trail (children 4-10 years), the various playgrounds, the mountain bike, the Mountain Bike Club, the pumptrack as well as the bicycle repair and washing station.

Located in the middle of a forest of tall pines, The AERIAL ROUTE of the Domaine Vert will allow you to discover the pleasure of climbing trees. A true immersion in the intimacy of nature! Courses of increasing difficulty are set up to allow participants to evolve, regardless of their skill level. The routes are carried out safely thanks to climbing equipment. Fun assured, it is the adventure activity of the Park.

The park also offers rental cottages, and rooms for special occasions as well as a day camp service in the summer for children. Some specific trails for hiking with a dog are open. Permission to bring your dog with you is subject to a number of conditions, including keeping your dog on a leash at all times and under constant supervision.

The entrance fee for the winter season includes access cross-country ski trails, hiking loops, snowshoeing trails, heated skating hut, snow hill, rental shop (winter only) and fatbike trails.

A sensational trip with a passionate team, a team who has over 20 years of experience, who will guide you through the rustic décor of the Outaouais, a dog sled ride on wild trails that will make you discover the basics of an ancestral means of transport while minimizing the impacts of our passage on the natural environment. During this adventure, several possibilities are available.

We offer you the possibility to:

- Drive your sled or let yourself be guided and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

- Go in groups or individual excursions, organize a children's party or enjoy the moment with the family in our wood-heated cottage.

- Excursions of 1h, 1h30, 2h or 3h are available.

Carbure Aventure is managing the activities on Base de plein air André-Nadeau, on which it offers snow tubing, fatbike and snowshoe rentals, aswell as animated activites for families. The organism also offers specialised outdoor summer camps about outdoor adventure and mountain biking. These camps, based at Mont-Bellevue, built the reputation of the team, equally by the quality and innovation of the services.
