The parc régional des Grandes-Coulées includes two areas accessible for free: the Forêt ancienne with 10 km of trails along the beautiful Rivière Noire plus its many activities for the family and the Grande tourbière de Villeroy – a magnificent territory – with 3 km of trails including 1,2 km of boardwalk in the heart of an open bog.
*NB: The Grande tourbière de Villeroy area will be closed for the 2024 season due to construction work.

Our ready-to-camp units, which can accommodate up to four adults, offer you a memorable stay in the heart of the forest. These uniquely styled accommodations are equipped with solar lighting, a propane stove, a mini-fridge and a 20-liter water supply inside. Outside, they feature a BBQ, fire pit and picnic table. The cabin is available for exclusive rental for a rustic forest experience. The Forêt ancienne sector offers 12 km of trails along the magnificent Rivière Noire. What sets this sector apart? It's certainly its accessibility. Young and old alike can enjoy this time in nature. Our low-gradient trails are ideal for young parents with big-wheeled strollers. Your nature break! In the Old Forest sector, observe a wide variety of nesting birds, including several species of warbler and rose-breasted cardinals. In the Forêt ancienne sector, the whole family can enjoy snowshoeing on our 12 km of trails. Your dog can come along too, as leashed dogs are welcome. In this area, you'll find a refuge accessible halfway along the trail. Ideal for warming up, pausing for a well-deserved a well-deserved meal, or spend the night. The gentle gradient of the trails means that everyone can enjoy a beautiful walk right in the heart of the forest. -
