The Société de Développement des Sports de Plein air is an organization whose main mission is the democratization of outdoor sports. The organization works to organize social, cultural and sports gatherings that encourage healthy lifestyles.

The NORR Festival is an outdoor event that takes place annually in the Vallée Bras-du-Nord, in Saint-Raymond. The festival is defined as the largest gathering of outdoor communities in Quebec. It is an opportunity for people to reconnect with nature and a unique opportunity to come together in an accessible and inclusive environment. Our mission is to create a festive and unique experience where we cultivate passions, forge authentic relationships and share stories.

Paradise of fresh water, Lake Saint Jean offers, in harmony with nature, a variety of activities which are the lifesource of H2O Expedition & Adventure. Water, source of life, inspiration and sensations, bathes the landscapes of our adventure-oriented visitors since 1993. We offer two activities  rafting and canyoning for beginners and experts.  All of these activities are accompanied and supported by experienced guides, specialists in outdoor activities, who will make you live this aquatic adventure to the fullest.

Eskamer Aventure

From canyon to sea, experience adventure with Eskamer 

We offer guided sea kayak outings, in-house training, and the Level 1 course developed by Québec' s Canoe/Kayak Federation (FQCK). We give introductory wilderness survival courses to elementary and secondary school students in Gaspé and a nautical physical education course in Canyon Ruisseau Castor (Beaver Brook Canyon).

Sea kayaking activities duration from 2-3 hours with a guide and specific gear. Observation of Minky whale, porpoise, seal, blue whale, fine whale, bump whale. At the end of the trip, a spectacular roof terrace including an unbelievable pool and Jacouzi in the air will be perfect for every one! There is a labyrinth and a plays ground for kids, a coffee shop, camping on a river side, shuttle bus, shuttle UTV for Safari and happy night life around.

Adventure in the heart of Québec 

In summer, our four-season center offers rafting, kayaking, canoeing and much more. In winter, snowmobiling, dogsledding and wintertime activities are a chance to shared new adventures. On the site, accommodations in an inn, or at our Adventure Village in eco-chalets, shelter and Canadian tent and also our campground. We've added restauration service and a boat and snowmobile rental.

Canyoning-Québec

The vertical thrill

Canyoning-Québec is the first and only canyoning specialist in Quebec, since 2000. We abseil waterfalls! From May to October, go with our professional guides to Jean-Larose Falls, at Mont-Sainte-Anne with two cascades plunging into magnificent basins. Experience ice canyoning at Mont-Sainte-Anne on a 41 m (135') frozen cascade, unique in Canada. Come to our new thrilling site at the Massif de Charlevoix. Try our wild sites in Vallée Bras-du-Nord located in St-Raymond and follow the cascades! For age 10 and up.

Vallée Bras-du-Nord

A piece of heaven only an hour away from Quebec!

The Vallée Bras-du-Nord is a must-see outdoor destination, offering 80 kilometers of hiking and snowshoeing trails, more than 100 kilometers of single-track mountain bike trails and 17.5 kilometers of quiet river descents. Canyoning, via ferrata, fat biking, Hok skiing and guided off-piste skiing are also outdoor activities on offer.

With its magnificent falls and its breathtaking viewing points, Vallée Bras-du-Nord is one little piece of heaven for the outdoors enthusiasts!

 

Katabatik - Aventure dans Charlevoix

Operating out of Baie-Saint-Paul, the Katabatik - Adventure in Charlevoix base camp offers experiences and activities accessible to all.

Rivière du Gouffre: An ideal river for recreational kayaking. Self-guided trips of 8 to 25 km, easy for beginners, families and the more athletic.

Sea kayaking: Since 2001, guided excursions of half a day or more from St-Irénée and Baie-Saint-Paul. The discovery of the coastal landscapes of Charlevoix and the middle estuary of the St. Lawrence.
