There is no shortage of rocky outcrops for the great pleasure of climbers! Among the sites of choice recommended by RikiBloc, let’s mention the Chute Neigette, located on an outcrop of the Appalachian mountain range, 20 minutes south-east of Rimouski. Starting point of a section of the sumptuous Appalachian Trail, the site is also known by swimmers, fishermen and other outdoor enthusiasts. It is a limestone wall 100 m wide and more than 30 m high. With an approach time of only 5 minutes, the site is ideal for an afternoon climb with friends or family, when the sun is shining on the site!
